Ceramic resonators manufactured by ECS Inc. International are created from high stability piezoelectric ceramics that are typically used for applications that don’t require precise timing. Ceramic resonators are used in a broad range of applications that don’t require precision timing as they are a low-cost solution for non-critical timing. Ideal applications for ceramic resonators include consumer electronics, communications, personal computing and exercise equipment.
ECS Inc.’s ECS-CR-2 A series of chip type surface mount ceramic resonators are offered in a 3.7 mm x 3.1 mm x 1.2 mm 2-pad package. They offer a frequency range of 8 MHz ~ 13 MHz or 13.1 MHz ~ 40 MHz, tolerance of ±0.5% and stability of ±0.3% over the standard operating temperature of -20°C ~ 80°C. These electronic components are ideal for consumer electronics like TVs and cameras and clocking applications where frequency accuracy is not critical.
