Something About The Position

The Inside Sales Representative is involved in all facets of customer service, order fulfillment, and sales support.  This position directly supports to the Inside Sales Manager and the President. This position will perform activities for Regional Sales Managers, Manufacturer’s Representatives, Distribution partners and OEM sales.  Duties will include quoting, inside sales support, along with assisting other customer service functions and sales support activities as requested. 

Customer Support Regions 

Asia (China, Hong Kong, APAC, India) 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Respond to all customers requests in a timely manner 
  • Maintain customer accounts timely and accurately with the most current information 
  • Process quotes through Quote Pilot and customer quote systems 
  • Manage quotes and follow up for win/loss status 
  • Manage customer purchase orders, change requests and cancellations according to ECS Inc. International terms and conditions 
  • Communicate to reps, distributors and customers new product information, discontinued items and catalog updates 
  • Be the expert on ECS Inc. International product lines with the ability to respond to customer questions  
  • Foster/nurture business relationships with all customers 
  • Independently take the “extra step” providing exceptional customer service 
  • Participate in other as-needed customer service and sales support activities 
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Understanding of Microsoft Office 365 
  • SAP 
  • ECS Inc. International Pilot System 
  • Standard Chinese/Mandarin a plus but not required
