All-In-One Devices Engineered to Outperform Discrete Components

ECS Inc. is a recognized industry leader in frequency control and power management products, one of which is the real time clock (RTC). A real time clock is a digital clock whose main function is to keep accurate track of time, even if the power to the device is cut off or it enters low-power mode. RTCs are comprised of a controller, oscillator and an embedded quartz crystal resonator. These all-in-one devices are engineered to outperform discrete components, simplify integration in new designs and accelerate time to market.

Our real time clocks come in voltage ranges of +1.6 to 5.0 V in a 3.2 mm x 3.2 mm x 1.0 mm package size with an embedded 32.768 kHz TCXO.The RTCs listed have a current consumption as low as 0.5μA (Typ.) and frequency stability options as tight as ±3 PPM.
