Surface acoustic wave, or SAW, resonators operate at higher frequencies than other mechanical piezoelectric components and are used for stable resonant frequency sources. They are often used in the manufacturing of radio transmitters where tunability is not required. ECS Inc. International’s SAW resonators meet industry standards for cell phones, keyless entry and digital satellite receivers, and they are ideal for other radio devices where channelization is not necessary such as door openers and short-range radio frequency links for computer peripherals.
The ECS Inc. ECS-SDR1 series of miniature SAW resonators are offered in a 5.0 mm x 5.0 mm x 1.5 mm 8-pad surface mount package. They offer developed frequency ranges of 314.925 MHz to 315.075 MHz, 417.925 MHz ~ 418.075 MHz and 433.845 MHZ ~ 433.995 MHz over the standard industrial operating temperature of -40°C ~ 85°C. These SAW resonator electronic components are ideal for remote control and wireless security transmitter applications.
